emigrated danish bundle of energy...

swallow just a few to numb it
your mouth is dripping honey now
cannot fill this void inside me
it's growing like a landfill
caught 'em in the back
they were holding all the answers
to who i'm running from these days
caught you in the act
you're so devious
went from letting go
now you're latching on
jumping through the hoops that you placed here
you placed here 'cause you're devious
now you're latching on
give and take
my mind won't let me
maybe i could care less
draining all the life within me
you always need me tethered

...currently one of my favourite bands in late 2011 or early 2012.

please hava a look espescially at 3:40 at the 1st video, when they run into "honeydrip". they create quite a unique style. reminding reminscences in the vein of indie-folk-punk-rock-electronica-pop snippets. i`m still be thrilled by an unconsumed emigrated danish bundle of energy. apparently this danish shellfishes have founded an american inspiring landing space. at the right time at the right place. brooklyn? got love? got shellfish! and stand your pace!

once on a splendid mission to play four in a row called pony show

one fine day alcoholic faith mission came around the corner anyway in order to say hi and clap your hands and celebrated a very intimate evening session by gaving such a warm welcome having adjourned everyone in the sitting-room. be prepared to be on the watch...

10th anniversary moment of occasion

"shaped like hands"
by unkle stiltskin

lines in the sand
shaped like hands
to lift us up
on our broken legs
but it's not enough
and we lose our heads
dropped from the sky
it burned our eyes
made us think for ourselves at last
and take some steps
to put a knife in the past
need to change where we're going
and to drop the stones we're throwing
and move out of the world and watch the glass house crumble
and what remains
is the stuff that sticks around and dirties haloes
stopped to watch the rain
but we fell asleep and woke up near the window
i won't complain
we press our tongues to the pane
we laugh at the ones on the train
we beat them at their own game
headache, sunburn, nosebleed, your turn
tongue tied, shut down
yeah, there's enough to go around
so then, good luck
please don't give up
build them, burn them
and press them into little squares
as the world turned, we were dreaming about our brains
and how they made us think and twitch and look away
so we stepped back into the shoes we wore that day
and find we're better off now, no matter what they say
look into through window
of a pale run down car
with the wind in my eyes, there is a burn on my cheek
and a package in my arms
the world looks pretty blurry
my eyes are tired these days
the sun looks like butter on an infinite plane
and I wish it would melt away
okay, now

i almost thought it has already been said enough about this formidable usofa artist on our blog surface. fortunately i changed my mind `cause he and his unique music projects let us fall in love time and again. this means ben cooper, ingenius lyrical mastermind of `radical face`.

this time we`ll try to convince any music beloved souls by naming another earlier band he`s involved in, which answers to the name of `unkle stiltskin` and was formed about ten years ago in 2002. insofar to commemorate an 10th anniversary moment of occasion here`s an immense track with even more immense heart shapely like hands. shake on it!

right from the retirement home from portland

grandparents from portland have recently released their ep "fumes" which you can fully stream and after that buy via bandcamp. their sound could be probably best described as experimental folk rock. the last song of the ep, "golden isles", is a groovy shiny folk rock song, consisting of many different influences. hence it sounded quite familiar to me. so nothing new, but who says that it always has to be new to be good?
