3 discs you shouldn't miss...

Aerogramme - The Art Of Belief
starting from lo-fi, this track raises to end up in something really beautiful. it reminds me on the old tocotronic stuff. excellent lyrics and this noisy guitar loops with recurrent melodies results in something i cannot resist...

Are you opening up tonight?

Will you share your dreams,
And laugh at what I dream?
I am weak at the thought of you.
I was hoping we'd load up the car,
Taking a picture and keeping it,
Remember I loved you that night.

Me You Us Them - Wish You Luck
sounds like a "nagging mother". the band says about their own sound. well discover for your own. the album "Post-Data" is a great new shoegazer release. vocals with hall-effects and guitar walls are the albums hallmarks. read more here.

Zola Jesus - Night
well, you need some psychedelic noise pop? here you are. didn't believe as i read that zola jesus is only one person and the pseudonym of Nika Roza Danilova, a american songwriter. the spectrum of her music ranges from electronical influences to original singer -/ songwriting. in my opinion, this mixture makes the difference. but as usual, decide for yourself.

A sad day for puppets...

...but a great day for german football fans. what a blast for england.

ok, coming back to music, here is the great new single, a big forerunner for the upcoming album “Pale Silver & Shiny Gold” in september this year, of swedens great popgazer Sad Day For Puppets. enjoy "Monster & The Biests" wich reminds me to the good old brit rock era, and download it for free from bandcamp or click here. brit rock? ey, don't mind all you british guys out there, fortunately your music is much better than the football your national team is playing!
and by the way, leave a comment!

a tropical depression

depending on atmospheric conditions different surge of emotions are able to awake...

...partly overcasted, heavy rains are smacking down. spindrift of waves paint faces. oceanic winds fluidise warmly airstreams against an atmospheric noise of a frigid summer breeze. here and there some skinny beams of sunlight dunk their way down in distant foaming crests...

in other words: a tropical depression. let`s have the blues!

approximately so an adapted natural setting might appear while listening to that inspiring soundscapes like an overwhelming "a tunnel into your dreams". let your eyes travel over. wishfully and however full of promise. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. it seems as if this breathtaking staging has put on by someone from a bird`s eye view. directed by someone from heaven. in that case from the band in heaven! Please listen to their musical output and get your own picture of them... to capture the bands` heating up shoegazepop along here.
