video of the week

It's you, it's you, it's all for you
Everything I do
Tell you all the time
Heaven is a place on earth with you
Tell me all the things you wanna do
I heard that you like the bad girls
Honey, is that true?

video of the week(end)

yeah!
all you lucky people on friday night in kentish town in the london borough of camden! what a colourful coming back on tour i wouldn`t dream of such a thing! probably their music-genre casts it feathers to the spearhead of britain´s metropolis in the near future...
as band manager jason thomas is in the habit of saying, cheers again! essex rules britannia!

ambitious. bracing. an exhilarating coherent intro combined with a high level of vocal backbone and smashing guitars. a massive energizing performing of `the boiler room ep` lead track "get along" makes the day again.

of course bandscheibenrecords put out feelers and perk up its ears, if any appearance of these brilliant guys swashes on the surface, `cause we`ve been still proud of having you hosted for first guest performance in germany ever and wont`forget that till the day you `coming home` again. we do! all get along, get along!

and to bring up older more than worthwhile memories, here`s a very keen and sublime acustic one by richard judge, who remains robert levon been from black rebel motrocycle club by his heartwarming attitude. turn up the volume and let`s have the blues!

cool.cooler.cooper.

i've got no need for open roads
'cause all i own fits on my back
i see the world from rusted trains
and always know i won't be back

'cause all my life is wrapped up in today
no past or future here
if i find my name's no good
i just fall out of line

but i miss you
but there's no comin' home
there's no comin' home
with a name like mine
i still think of you
but everyone knows
yeah everyone knows
if you can, let it go

i seen more places than i can name
and over time they all start to look the same
but it ain't that truth we chase
no, it's the promise of a better place
...

i`m quite sure ben cooper have been taken his well-deserved place on bandscheibenrecords in earlier times yet. nevertheless in great anticipation on the basis of an optinally munich setting in february 2012 i will not keep that back from you music enthusiasts. his band radical face brought us back another welcome lp `the family tree:the roots` during the year 2011. currently his latest achievement "ghost town", another marked-down folk-/indieopop hybrid gives proof of his unbelievable talent of a never dying soulmate.

one of my personal
outstanding favourite based on this usofa artist, a heart-warming and embracing lofi- reduced indiepop nugget "wrapped in piano strings" (download via soundcloud-link), whose sentimental skateboard video atmosphere is simple brilliant fitted as well as significant for a perfect way of life. without words. oh well! nearly.

i saw your father in the hall
his ghost is living in the walls

i heard him crying while you slept
i heard him breaking things after you left

i watched you crawl into my bed
with curses spilling from your head
you said "we're just the walking dead"
so i pulled the trigger and we floated...

appendix to our video of the week

here is another great video from spanish trio neuman. 12 minutes of pure energy. turn up the speakers, lay back and dive into the world of neuman's perfect soundscapes.

At the end of my lost way
At the of a shout
I don't need your help any more

At the end of a restless night
At the end of my race
I don't need your help any more

In the danger you will stay
In the fire you will burn
I don 't need your help any more

haunting confessions from far east...

farewell
it's long gone,
gone away
words were almost lost and gone
i felt it was far away;
even if it was near
i felt i could reach at least
ready made answers are here,
sitting like a gu deposit
and always tries to deliver
i turn away from those kind of things
get up and go, my will
just wave a good-bye
farewell

first of all let me tell you one thing: thankfully i recently had the chance to take part in one of my personal most worthwile soul-crushing art cinematic experience up to now if i have to talk about any exhaustive emotions that have been built up in art moving images within a magic music context roundly.

"confessions", a really perfectly imagery arranged japanese (actually noboby comes to my mind who illustrates art moving scenes with keen selected exquisite poptunes in an adequate better way than able tetsuya nakashima) school thriller-drama was predominant based on very special, kind of subtle shoegazepop/dreampop soundscapes, which emphasize circumstances meaningful or increase a world of emotions the opposed characters living in. The intensity of japanese drone-gaze-rockband boris` track "farewell" at movie plot punchline slow-motion-explosion-scene is completely breathtaking and worth to memorable. The breakdown at the beginning is fucking groundbreaking. a more then 7 minutes funeral, farewell!

live performance as well underneath...

and if that wasn`t enough england`s spearhead superior popband radiohead ups the ante with a more than lyrical superior depressing piano track that every listener is on no laughing mood. "last flowers to the hospital". name is program. bless my heart! can you find space inside a bleeding heart...

appliances have gone berserk
i cannot keep up
treading on people's toes
snot-nosed little punk
and i can't face the evening straight
and you can't offer me escape
houses move and houses speak
if you take me there you'll get relief
believe, believe, believe, believe...
and if I'm gonna talk
i just wanna talk
please don't interrupt
just sit back and listen
cause i can't face the evening straight
and you can't offer me escape
houses move and houses speak
if you take me there you'll get relief
believe, believe, believe, believe...
it's too much
too bright
too powerful
too much
too bright
too powerful
too much
too bright
too powerful
too much

soul-consoling. warm-hearted. embracing.

in the black out of light
i found a rhyme on hope
in the corner of doubt

someone left a word hanging on to me still
a comfort i say
the making of a slow day

i draw a pair of new eyes in my mind
reaching out who knows what i could find

walking aimlessly
walking aimlessly

in blue hours of dawn
before the day rushes on
and confusion grabs hold
have the thoughts come and let go

i think it`s been said enough about anna ternheim and her subtle talents in the recent past.
but i also think it`s not slightly exaggerated if i said her warm-hearted and embracing voice is one of the smartest in a great female music independent scene up to present. charming miss!

in combination with music i`m always interested in meaningful and expressive pictures behind tunes. well done miss sverige!
