giants to the core in singapore!

`we looked like giants`

WOW!
this sends nonstop pleasant showers down the spine! maybe death cab`s stage performance of lifetime! absolutely nothing has ever been experienced a higher energy level than `giants` below. maybe `transatlanticism` seems brilliant on stage, but nevertheless this unique rearranged monster is sounding like an epical revelation among its violative tough exterior. it`s all about the tiny details indeed...

an at the begining of march 2012 rearranged
instrumental interlude part on its own means a stand-out music art beyond doubt (they already did an extended version many times before but never ever in such an expressive way i`m thinking of this band - maybe just as unique rarity for those people in asia-pacific region). without interruption walla`s guitar weeps more ostensible than ever around the corner and chirrs with ben`s drums racing into an orgiastic drumming staccato at 1:30.

now pay attention! the best part is yet to come. it begins at about 1:52, while ben stands up in front of the crowd and leads himelf into incredible guitar-gazing concentric runout-soundscapes. walla, you lucky bastard! both man play their hearts out by commemorating all levels of their instruments`capacity and immense feedback effects. inconceiveable magical! nearly in some way kind of surreal already... `cause in one`s right mind this performing part actually has to be done by another band but not death cab at all. completely breathtaking and worth to memorable. shoegazing at its best. and indeed death cab were on stage and not an image of some kind of japanese genre-pioneers. for sure the best death cab soul-crushing live moment i`ve ever keep in mind so far. beyond any price. it finally sunk in again, hias! dcfc thrilled like they never did before...

music friends! here along the first minutes including ben leads himself into their new arranged instrumental break! he seems so deeply intrinsic soul-recovered again and in bloody brilliant emotional-aggressive mood. till the end you can hear walla`s creative genius as told above. so turn your fuckin´ volume up once more!

this is fact not fiction...

`a lack of colour`

for the first time since years...

godness gracious me! those crystal-clear crazy moments - even thousands of miles far away from home - have nearly been fallen in oblivion! finally on transatlanticism however when it comes down to it anywhere amid transpacificism at the philippines by starting a thriller in manila once more...

music lovers and whatnot! bandscheibenrecords throws two downright adorable cover versions in. the first an awesome acoustic one, the second a fuckin` addictive electric-stripped-down rarity to download. well if nothing else...

i dream in colour, an as far as possible well-known but highly talented essex-gang of four self-made men have announced a further brand-new single today. lead singer richard and his brother peter judge, michael thackeray and steve daniels digged deep into one`s tuneful bag of tricks once again. apparently these essex to the bones lads are really wanting more than london. and they`re ready to go into clubbing boiler rooms for lessons teach people to try finding the courage and hold on to your heart...

but as time went by memories have been strong!
as long as things entirely wouldn`t go wrong,

brooklyn`s scandinavian pop vibration

frankie rose spent a few years kicking around the brooklyn indiepop scene before striking out on her own path. she `s already left several bands behind. the vivian girls, dum dum girls, crystal stilts and her first solo record under the name frankie rose and the outs. it seemed pretty clear, that she was eventually destined for further projects. now as it were she is about making a new start once again.

as time flies ingredients modifies. the 60ies glimmers only rarely on her musical firmament. whilom volatile noise elements are completely canceled from her effect line-up. twang here and there. all over beloved 80ies disembarks an frankie`s nightstand. a disposition for c86 and the smiths foats around the corner. choirs of angels accompanies with frankie`s modulations. a reunion with veteran poppy sounds in the vein of the cure. a bass line, like a time machine, cleans the bottom of a dance hall up. intrinsically enchanting how thunder-hall drums add weight to little melodies. that kind of jangle-pop-mixture rings very suasive! hias, not only your musical feeling should run high...
