Happy Birthday!

15 years went by since the birth of the mp3 format. happy birthday!
The format has been developed since 1982 under the administration of Prof. Musman of the Fraunhofer Institut Erlangen. The development was intended to compress audio files and therefore to save discspace by filtering every tone which isn't hearable for human ears. It got it's name on the 14th of july 1995 after a institute intererior poll. Here are two tracks from 1995, to celebrate mp3's birthday.
