postcards from paris.

my admiration for beirut`s handiwork have been fostered since their begining in 2006 and will be continued for sure. subliminal and extrinsic magnetized together i`ve fallen victim to one of brooklyn`s craziest bird in a positive way since there. barely his otherworldy far-eastern lo-fi big-band-like tonalitys of unusual manner amongst a whiny-voiced lament taped the pulse of the age purely sudden and produced a couple of masterpieces and will probably leave one of the most significant and trend-setting memorable popartist of a still emerging millenium. declaredly a georgous "postcards from italy" from their debut goes a little bit stronger on my mind since then almost in passing.

well! let`s draw the bow for nowadays: a young parisian agathe. together with her friend josephine she plays excellent and exquisite cover versions of favored dears. underneath beloved song, of course. especially i`m taken with the provisional trumpet parts. you have to sense to hear something to pick up some spirit of an embracing metropolis. but see for yourselves...

paris! i say! towns of europe! please give such empathetic folk "mademoiselles" a break!

and in the end.
brooklyn`s luminary in his field himself on his ramble through seine-city.
