this is our legislative!

named after the legislature of israel, knesset is the band i discovered today browsing bandcamps big archiv of great musicians. after listening to "steady hands" i thought of another death cab for cutie cover band. but  actually streaming their whole new album "coming of age" wasn't a waster. the sound is developing through the whole album and there are several indie pearls you also might like. the opener "steady hands", as mentioned before could have also been written by ben gibbard & co, the wonderful "make like a parade" developes to explode under rythmic drums and the closener "mother" does what it is supposed to: it caps the album at the right moment.
unfortunately there are two questions remaining: why isn't the album for free? and why is this album tagged as shoegaze? maybe you can answer this?
